Plantation Park Heights Urban Farm’s mission is to spread love, support the community, and bring healthy food to the city.
Plantation Park Heights Urban Farm (PPHUF) was born out of a group of Caribbean/American citizens’ desire to effect change and have a positive impact on the lives of young adults that reside in the Park Heights community in Baltimore, Maryland.
They are creating an inter-generational volunteer workforce in Plantation Park Heights, enabling their community to produce and maintain their ability to thrive and feed those who face food insecurity every day. PPHUF bring leaders, youth farmers, artists, developers, and many other essential stakeholders to focus on food production and distribution to create the first “Agrihood” within the city of Baltimore.
