Ignite Capital hosted its second annual showcase for Innovation Works' most advanced social entrepreneurs (SEs) to get a chance to pitch to investors in the Baltimore City ecosystem. The eight presenting SEs recently graduated from IW’s 6-month Accelerator and had prepared their pitches over many weeks with the help of dedicated business mentors.

IW's robust programming helps vet participating enterprises so that by the time they present in front of the Ignite Capital Co-Investor Network, some risk/perceived risk has been mitigated.
